A True Masterpiece: Lage Raho Munnabhai
‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ is a movie as wonderful as ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ for the most part and is even better than that for some part. ‘Lage Raho…’ is a pure magic. The amazing movie touches us deep inside our heart. It’s an inspirational movie without heavy lectures. The character of Gandhi Ji has been used in a brilliant manner in here. The movie teaches some genuine lessons. The story makes us feel proud of ourselves on being a good human being. I am not sure whether movie is successful in teaching us to follow Gadhian Principles but for sure attracts the much needed attention on the principle professed by Mahatma Gandhi and that too in such a lucrative, warm and witty manner.
The best part of the movie is the Radio program of Munna , where he tries to solve problems of people of Mumbai on Air. The very first case, the one where Jimmy Shergil has lost seven lakhs of rupees in share market crash, has been filmed in a way that may make some people burst into tears, purely emotional picturization. Another case where the goon spits ‘Pan Peek’ on the wall of the lean guy’s house is also an emotional play which finally fills you up with victorious emotions.
This movie is an excellent mix of comedy and good emotions. Sanjay Dutt again does a wonderful job here. Vidya Balan is really beautiful and her smile is killing. Circuit is flawless. The length of the movie is sweet and the songs are playable. The magic of the movie is the story and how this story has been displayed. Boman Irani did the same justice to the character of Lucky that he did to character of Dr. Asthana in ‘MBBS’.
While watching you will laugh frequently and may even cry also occasionally. This movie heads directly to point where all good movies must go, straight into your heart. Cameo of Abhishek Bachchan was good. Saurabh Shukla did a tremendous job. While old age homers enjoy their Goa trip , you also feel happy for them .
I’ve heard a lot many stories about the title of this movie. So many different titles were selected for this film and finally “Lage Raho Munnabhai” was chosen. In my true opinion, all the previously selected titles were better than the current one except “Munna Bhai LLB”. “Munnabhai meets Mahatma Gandhi” was really an appropriate title. “Munnabhai Second innings” could have been real good.
With sheer simplicity this movie emerges as a screen wonder till the time it wraps up. “Two Thumbs!!!! Way up!!!!!!!!!!!” for this great movie. This movie has made it to the list of my all time Hindi TOP Ten movies. This movie all set for winning uncountable hearts of numerous viewers in coming days. This movie gives us that sneak peek towards life full of illumination and hope. Please………..Please…….. ..Please……..... Go and discover a new life and live that for entire 2 Hours and 24 minutes.
I am assuring you that you have not seen such a great movie in last at least couple or may be three years. If you miss this movie , then you are going to miss a lot.
